| President of Turkey's National Olympic Committee Togay Bayatli was elected to the board of European Olympics Committee. Bayatli became one of the three candidates that received the most votes in the General Assembly meeting that was held in Lisbon, Portugal. Delegations of 38 countries attended the General Assembly meeting. Patrick Hickey was reelected the President. The committee will serve for a period of 4 years.
